ELK HUNTING IN ARIZONA

Arizona 6A Bull

This Bull Elk was glassed and photographed through the glasses by Gino in the Arizona 6A hunting area, August 2003

Species Information

Hunting bull elk during the Arizona rut is drama at its best. With opportunities to harvest giant bulls at close range as thier bugles roar though the forests. How close would you like to get?

In Arizona, elk can be found in a various habitats across nearly half of the state, from 4500 to 10000 feet in elevation, as there range seems to increase each year. From cedar flats and prickly pear patches to alpine forests and meadows, these magnificent trophies can live and travel in places where even a sure-footed mule may not go. Arizona has, and will continue to produce world class trophy elk for many, many years to come.
